Our Supported Living Service is for people with learning difficulties and mental health issues, and those seeking rehabilitation who wish to live more independent and happy lives. Goldsmith Personnel have more than 10 years’ experience of integrating clients from secure settings back into the community. We are totally committed to putting our clients first, prioritising their safety and recovery, and offering rehabilitation and community-based solutions. 

Our care services are fully regulated by the relevant country regulator including Care Quality Commission (CQC) for England, Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for Wales, Care Inspectorate for Scotland and The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) for Northern Ireland.

What is Supported Living?

Supported living services enable people with a range of needs to live happy and fulfilling lives, independently and safely in their local communities. When a person goes into supported living, they have their own home with their own tenancy agreement or may be placed at one of Goldsmith Personnels amazing homes dependent on the clients case. At the same time, they receive support and care which can range from a few hours a week to one-to-one support, 24 hours a day.

Many people with mental health, learning disabilities, autism and other needs require some level of support, so that they can maximise their independence and live the life that they choose. A supported living service can help if someone does not want to live in residential care but would find it difficult to cope on their own at home. Supported living helps people to make choices about how they want to live and to keep doing the things that are important to them.

Our Approach On Supported Living

We mainly work with individuals with a forensic history, particularly those on S37/41. We understand the complexities and legalities involved in their placement within the community. 

We assess risk and ensure that we work in a way that promotes independence, with ongoing monitoring and management of the identified risks. Goldsmith Personnel’s care and support services are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We have a dedicated team who will work with you to find out your personal preferences and requirements so we can find the perfect home for you. We are here to support you to do the things that are important to you every step of the way.
